"Beautiful Now" is a song by Zedd from his second studio album, True Colors. It is the third track and second single of the album, and it features vocals from American singer-songwriter/producer/rapper Jon Bellion. The song was certified gold by the RIAA on December 14, 2015.[2]
Background
On May 8, 2015—as part of his True Colors promotional campaign—Zedd premiered "Beautiful Now" at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois.
Five days later, he announced that he would release the song onto iTunes at 9:00 PM PST.[3] A few hours prior to its release, he tweeted the lyrics from the song's beat break.[4]

The audio for "Beautiful Now" was released onto Zedd's VEVO channel on May 14, 2015.[5]
On May 26, 2015, Zedd posted a sneak preview of the song's music video onto his Twitter.[6]
The official music video was released on June 11, 2015.[7] It chronicles the lives of five different people each in a difficult life situation, including a young man living during a war, a suicidal teen, and Zedd as an alcohol-stealing thug. Throughout the video, flashbacks to more optimistic times are shown, hinting that their lives were once better. At the climax, all five of the people seemingly come to the realization that their lives are worth living and decide to change their ways.

- "Beautiful Now" is the most popular track on True Colors as of June 1, 2015, on the Singapore iTunes Store.
- On June 10, 2015, Zedd and Lady Antebellum performed a two-song medley consisting of "Beautiful Now" and "Long Stretch of Love" at the 2015 CMT Music Awards[10].
- The song was featured in the official trailer for "The Sims 4 Get Together", an expansion pack for the Electronic Arts, Inc. game The Sims 4[11].
- "Beautiful Now" has the same tempo of a Metronome in the beginning as another Zedd song called "Hourglass."
